Questions

Is Offline Bible free?

Yes. Every page, the search, the reading plans and the downloads are free, with no ads, no account and no in-app purchases.

How do I read the Bible without internet?

Open a translation page and tap Save offline once while you have a connection. After that every chapter of that translation opens with no connection, in the browser or as an installed app. Step by step for each phone and computer.

Which Bible translations are here?

The King James Version (KJV), the World English Bible (WEB) and the American Standard Version (ASV). All three are in the public domain, which is what lets a free site carry the full text. How they differ.

Why is the NIV or ESV not included?

Those translations are under copyright, and their publishers limit how much text a site may carry without a license. Which translations are free to use.

How much space does it take?

Each saved translation is about 4 MB on the device and about 0.9 MB to download. Pages you open are kept as well.

Where are my bookmarks stored?

In this browser on this device only. There is no account, so nothing is uploaded. Clearing the browser data for this site removes them.
